Charleston Farm offers a selection of days throughout our growing season, Spring - Autumn, to visit and PYO flowers. These days are released with as much notice as possible, but also randomly surprise you on socials or via the mailing list. Unfortunately we cannot offer PYO too far in advance as both the weather and flowers can be unpredictable at times. Whenever we are able to host these days we will. Ultimately when the patch is as full of blooms and colour as possible!
Wander the flower patch to relax your mind, breathe in the hills air, pick some stunning blooms, take photos and leave knowing you’ve ticked your wellbeing box for the day!
These are picking experiences on our private family farm. Therefore bookings and advance payment is required. Picking numbers are limited so it’s not too crowded.
Cost is $45 per adult picking. This is charged at time of booking and includes 12 stems.
Please BYO jar/vase/bucket to transport your blooms home in. In an effort to use less consumables and make it safer with less glass, you will be given a jug to walk around with and put your blooms into. Once you have finished please transfer into your own jar/vase/bucket. If you forget we have paper cups to use or you can purchase a jar to take them home.
Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times, as there are barbed wire fences keeping cattle in and a dam close by. Unfortunately pets are not welcome.
Please remember this is a working farm so there will be uneven surfaces and things you can hook your clothes on (fence, droppers). We ask you to be careful and use paths please. Closed toe shoes would be a great idea.
Snips, jug and harvest instructions (including what blooms can be picked) will be provided upon arrival. Snips and jugs are to remain at the farm.

The selection of photos below were captured by photographer Sarah Castle, who was asked to join us at a couple of the ‘Snip + Sip’ PYO events.
